FG SQUARED worked with American Campus Communities to restructure its network of 118 student housing websites. By building a custom CMS, creating a unified database, redesigning the overall user experience to meet the needs of new and future residents, and rebuilding each site to maximize search engine optimization, we made it possible for ACC to manage a large amount of content with ease and frequency.
FG SQUARED took the following steps to ensure the objectives set forth in the project were met:
- Conducted interviews with parents, students, and management in all departments at ACC in order to determine what the brand meant to each stakeholder.
- Research of the student demographics along with student surveys unveiled keyword terms that would reach the more targeted consumer audience online and were incorporated into the technology of the sites.
- Developed and tested design templates, content formalization, a unified database, and management systems based on a detailed needs assessment derived from working in tandem with ACC.
