To better serve constituents as a training and accreditation site, The Texas Association of Community Health Centers' CHLN.org required a systematic site reorganization to empower network-member clinics to improve processes.
FG SQUARED collaborated with TACHC to modify and streamline an existing online learning tool for both users and site administrators.
To provide as much flexibility and access to its state-wide clinic base, TACHC needed an updated version of an existing course authoring tool and wanted to manage as much content online as possible. FG SQUARED gave TACHC the ability to easily manage the creation and ongoing management of learning courses, rich media content such as videos, course credits, certification, and user-access, by building Web 2.0 course database with robust user-management.
The newly revised site empowers member clinics to take a more proactive role managing healthcare-worker users, optimizing processes that include reporting, academic course enrollment, and tracking and reviewing. By digitizing sign-up and maintenance, the site revision eliminates user paperwork and enables interactive capabilities. TACHC administrators can use a dashboard application to share the same view an HR person in the network sees and provide real-time information and counsel.
Users can obtain course credits and self-serve academic coursework. Actual coursework currently underway includes topics such as: Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communications, Infection Control, and Healthcare 101.
Test-builder and certificate-builder tools let users create exams using a simple template. Site improvements allow users to take charge of their system without the cost or delays associated with learning multiple interfaces or reliance on back-end technical staff.
