FG SQUARED has an immediate opening for an Interactive Designer. We offer work on websites, web applications, event kiosks, e-Learning, product demos and other marketing communications for a variety of regional and global clients in a variety of fields including energy, technology, and healthcare.

Our creative and yet technically savvy work environment will require you to be well-versed in visual design for a variety of media types.
Responsibilities
- Understanding a client's business, brand and marketing objectives
- Leveraging that understanding into a variety of different designs to meet the objectives of a variety of different projects
- Creating concepts, executing designs and implementing design concepts through all phases of a project
- Presenting design concepts to clients and team members
- Designing for every type of media: websites, interactive demos, web applications, and e-Learning projects
- Collaborating with team members [that may or may not be outsourced] who will include: project manager, technical architect, information architect, account executive, writers, other designers and programmers
- Contributing to prospective client pitch efforts
- Ongoing professional enrichment through involvement in training, associations and or conferences
Requires
- Insatiable curiosity, excited by design and evolving technology
- Interest and understanding of social media
- Understanding general principles of design and incorporating them into a variety of design types across the board: web, interactive, video, e-Learning, print
- 6+ years of web design experience with an understanding of marketing and branding
- The ability to ask appropriate questions and communicate effectively to a broad range of people: designers, executives, business development and technical staff
- Strong conceptual design with an emphasis on web
- Experience in client-service, with good presentation skills a plus
- Expert knowledge of relevant design applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Flash, etc.)
- Understanding of time-management and the ability to meet deadlines
- An active focus on user experience
