Summary: Plans, manages and leads the execution of FG SQUARED marketing and communications programs by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Manages FG SQUARED marketing and communications programs which include but are not limited exclusively to: www.fg2.com – new site development and ongoing maintenance – FG SQUARED brand awareness and maintenance, messaging and corporate identity, corporate events and sponsorships, direct communications--including email and traditional mail--mailing list management, newsletters, public relations and press releases.
- Manages FG SQUARED sales tools which include but are not limited exclusively to: work sample library, case studies, customer testimonials and references, staff biographies, customer access areas of www.fg2.com, collateral, internal and external corporate promotions and promotional items.
- Designs and conducts research and measurement programs to maximize FG SQUARED marketing communications effectiveness.
- Attends networking events and participates in professional online communities related to FG SQUARED or marketing communications in general.
- Completes all projects indicated above with a variety of resources including but not limited exclusively to: employees, vendors, contracted talent, who work both onsite and offsite.
- Manages resources, budget and requirements for all assigned projects.
- Completes project reporting required by Project Management Director, including weekly Project Manager Reports in Filemaker and project start and close procedures.
- Helps define scope, schedule and budget for all FG SQUARED marketing communications projects detailed above. Meets deadlines and helps project resources meet deadlines by effectively communicating various project roles, responsibilities and requirements.
- Provides central point of coordination for FG SQUARED marketing and communications efforts.
- Participates in development and communication of strategic business objectives and executes against those objectives.
- Manages process using production principals that maximize productivity in a variety of project types.
- Manages Web 2.0 and other Web projects throughout the entire process: from defining scope to deployment and maintenance.
- Prioritizes projects and day-to-day activities based on communicated FG SQUARED priorities.
- Resolves project-related conflicts among resources or project stakeholders, escalating to the appropriate resource when necessary.

Supervisory responsibilities:
Does not directly supervise any employees. Manages anywhere from 2-12 resources, including but not limited to employees, contractors and vendors in the effort of completing marketing and communications projects in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include ensuring team members have a clear understanding of their roles and activities on each project as well as maintaining pre-defined project budgets and timelines.
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reports to: Project Management Director
Summary: Ensures that projects assigned to him/her are completed in accordance with company procedures, on time, within budget and that the completed project meets client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Leads projects as assigned by Project Management Director
- Ensures that projects clearly meet the client's goals, are of the highest quality, are completed on time, and within budget
- Is able to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ensures that projects assigned to him/her are clearly defined from inception
- Manages project team members in an efficient manner; making sure they fully understand their roles and the workflow of the project
- Proactively identifies all required project roles
- Maintains accurate resource allocation records
- Notifies Project Management Director of personnel required to complete project
- Prepares quotations, Statements of Work (SOW), project definitions, and estimated costs for each project in accordance with established procedures. Gives to Project Management Director for approval.
- Manages customer work-in-progress sites or extranet
- Completes all administrative tasks as outlined in departmental procedures (to include maintaining a log of archival information about all projects, completing all project start-up and closing procedures, and completing all required reports)
- Ability to forecast on a weekly basis, resources needed and budget applied to projects
- Ensures that all policies and procedures are followed and all terms of SOW are met
- Informs Project Management Director as soon as possible if he/she believes a client is not satisfied, or a project is going off-track
- Prepares, at request of Project Management Director, evaluations of work of production personnel; participates in evaluation process as needed
- Assists Business Development individuals with proposals and sales effort, to include keeping them informed regarding project and client status
- Stays up-to-date with project management techniques and theories
- Other duties as required
Requires:
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
- At least 5-7 years experience in managing web and interactive projects
- Understanding of production process for various types of projects
- Ability to prepare documents using FG SQUARED'S software package. (Currently Microsoft Office, Vista; primarily Word and Excel, Project a plus)
- Solid knowledge of internet, intranet, extranet; enough to know what can and cannot be done
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize work, direct and establish accountability of personnel
- Ability to set priorities and juggle competing priorities effectively
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to pin down details
- Ability to communicate with clients and peers in a professional environment
