RefreshWeb, the Austin-based Search Engine Optimization (SEO) firm, tapped FG SQUARED to redesign the user experience of their SEO Management Dashboard to both improve usability and harmonize with their website branding.
RefreshWeb needed to improve the dashboard’s usability and user experience so their clients could more easily find and interpret valuable search engine analytics. After several rounds of surveys, research, and design comps, RefreshWeb got a slick new dashboard design and more satisfying user experience.
Throughout the project, we used an agile development methodology to coordinate and collaborate in lock step with RefreshWeb during every phase of the design process, thus ensuring both that our designs were fully feasible and the client was not disappointed with the final product. The client clearly understood each deliverable and how to utilize each document, and their involvement in the process offered them the peace of mind of knowing that their project was proceeding in the right direction.
In addition to a new look that conforms to refreshweb.com’s branding, the new SEO Management Dashboard has some great upgraded features: the ability to compare the results for two dates, two keywords, or two search engines on the same page; the ability to switch the dashboard’s focus with a single click, and significantly improved findability of important SEO variables.
